This video tutorial will guide you on how to bulk cease register entries within WealthWorks+.
Once you have successfully completed a bulk cease, you may wish to bulk assign a new entity. Please see the How to Bulk Assign Registers within WealthWorks+ tutorial for further assistance with this.

To Bulk Cease a contact from multiple entity registers go to the menu option Registers and select Bulk Cease. Select a Register from the drop-down list (currently Bulk Cease is only available for Professional Advisors, Directors, Secretaries and Trustees) and then start typing the name of the contact you need to remove from the registers. The system will automatically search the database for matching contacts after you have entered 2 or more characters. Select the relevant contact and click Display List. This will bring up a list of all the entities that have that contact listed in the selected register. Enter the date you want the contact to cease being on the register, this can be a past or present date, and select a Cessation Reason from the drop-down list.
(00:53) If you need to see more information about the current register details, click on the Actions button for the relevant entity and select View Register Details. This will open a pop-up screen showing the current details, so won't lose your current place on the page.
(01:07) Select the entities you wish to update by checking the appropriate boxes, then click Update Selected. Check the list of selected entities is correct and click Cease Selected to confirm the action. Or to update every entity, simply click Update All then Cease All to remove the contact from the registers of all the entities displayed.
(01:31) If you need to create a new cessation reason this must be done on an individual entity prior to the Bulk Cease action. To do this use the mouse right click button on one of the entities in the list and select 'open link in new tab'. Select the tab that just opened, and it should display the relevant entity register information. Using any contact, click the Actions button, then Edit. In the Edit screen, click on the Add Item button next to Cessation Reason, create the new cessation reason and click Save and cancel out of the edit screen. Then go back to previous tab and refresh the page, either by clicking on the refresh icon or by pressing F5. Once you have re-entered the contact details the new Cessation Reason will be available in the list.
