[Support #31077]

In our new in-built accounts function, Troika outputs the accounts in both Word and PDF format. Usually, if user editing is required, the Word format will be necessary. Unfortunately, an issue within the Microsoft output to Word function causes pagination issues in the accounts which means they are not always suitable for delivery to clients.  If users don’t need to edit the accounts document, note that the PDF copy of the accounts doesn’t suffer from the same pagination issues, so users are advised to use that copy normally.

To allow users editing capability without the introduction of these pagination issues, we’ve included a switch to use a web service to automatically export PDF accounts to Word, and removing these pagination issues in the editable version.  To use this, amend the LightPDF varitext setting within Troika Utilities > Systems tab >  System Settings > Sundry Entries > LightPDF to be blank. Please note, this setting is set to FALSE by default. For those users with concerns over the PDF to Word exporter used by Troika when this setting is in use, the LightPDF privacy policy can be found at https://lightpdf.com/privacy which may assist.  Users also have the option to export to Word using other online or offline PDF-to-Word converter tools, if preferred.
