Within WealthWorks+ users are now able to add and maintain their Chart of Accounts. It is also possible to add, amend and remove Nominal Codes.

  • Add a Chart of Account to WealthWorks+
  • Add Nominal Codes to a Chart of Accounts
  • Amend the properties of the Chart of Accounts

  


Tutorial Transcript


Access to the Chart of Accounts menu option can be found via Options > Data Configuration > Chart of Accounts.


(00:16) To create a new Chart of Accounts, select the 'Add' button next to the Chart of Accounts selection. Enter a Description, Length of Nominal code (between 3 and 9 digits) and add any Notes about the new Chart of Accounts. If the Chart of Accounts is set as 'Enabled' it can be used on existing entities where no accounting records exist. If you want this Chart of Account to be the 'Default' Chart for new Entities, tick this box. Click 'Save'.


(00:51) Use the + ('Add') button to add new Master Nominal Codes to the Chart of Accounts. Continue to add as many Nominal Codes as you require, ensure you click 'Save' to save the page. The Master Nominals were saved successfully to the Chart of Accounts.
