This video tutorial will assist users in deleting any unused addresses from their database; either those no longer in use, or entered in error.


Please note, the delete option is only available for those addresses not used elsewhere in the database.



Tutorial Transcript


If there is an address in the database, which is no longer used or was entered in error then you can delete it from the system via the Contact Directory. Select any record and go to the Contact Info tab. In the Addresses portlet, click on the Add icon to open the Add Addresses box. Start typing the address in the Select Address field to search for it, then select the relevant address from the drop-down list. If the address is not used anywhere in the database, a Delete icon will appear. Click the Delete icon and then Delete again.


(00:44) If the Delete icon does not appear when you select an address, this means the address is currently being used by an Entity or Contact record so cannot be deleted from the database.
