Overview
Default compliance categories are seen within Troika Administration & Compliance, under the Client Details – Edit menu option, and the Compliance tab. A compliance item can also be given a default time limit, after which a compliance item is deemed ‘expired’.
The amount of compliance items you see here, the name of these items, and their time limits can all be controlled within the Utilities module.
Adding a new compliance item
From the Utilities module, select the Security tab, and the menu option Administration Settings. From the Administration Settings Menu, select the menu option Add/Edit Compliance Categories.
Select the type of entity the new compliance item relates to – either Other, Individual, Company, Trust, Partnership, or Estate – and then type the name of the new item in the ‘Description’ field. Click the Add New Entry button to add it to the list above.
Should you wish to assign any time limit to the new compliance item, select the new compliance item in the ‘Compliance Category List’ and click the ‘Time Limits’ button. Select/enter an Interval and Frequency selection (Years, 5, for a 5 year time limit for example), and click OK to save.
Click Close to exit.
Amending an existing compliance item
From the Utilities module, select the Security tab, and the menu option Administration Settings. From the Administration Settings Menu, select the menu option Add/Edit Compliance Categories.
Select the type of entity the new compliance item relates to – either Other, Individual, Company, Trust, Partnership, or Estate – and select item you want to change from the ‘Compliance Category List’.
Amend the description of the item in the ‘Description’ field, and click the Edit button to save the changes.
Should you wish to amend any time limit to the new compliance item, select the compliance item again in the ‘Compliance Category List’ and click the ‘Time Limits’ button. Select/enter an Interval and Frequency selection (Years, 5, for a 5 year time limit for example), and click OK to save.
Click Close to exit.
