This is a video tutorial on how to generate reports from within WealthWorks+.

To run a report, select the Reports menu option from the left hand menu. This will open the report wizard.


(00:18) STEP 1. Select the desired report. You can find the report by name if you start typing a few letters into the search box or you can filter the reports available by Business Area or Report Type. Entity reports can only be run for one entity. Group reports can be run for one entity or a group of entitie. Staff reports can be run for one user or a group of users. Global reports will run for all entities and automatically proceed to STEP 3. Once you’ve found the report click on Continue. 


(00:50) STEP 2. Select the entity the report is for. You can search the entity list using the filters on the left hand side. You can Add an entity by selecting it from the left hand box and clicking the Add button. If you need to remove an entity from list select the entry on the right hand side and click remove. If you hold Ctrl while selecting entities you can select non adjacent entities. Use Shift to select groups of entities.


(01:15) STEP 3. Select the parameters for the report. The parameters will vary depending on the report selected. 


(01:23) STEP 4. Select the report style options. At any stage of the report wizard you can click Back if you need to amend any of the report details. When you are happy with everything, click Run Report and the report will generate in a new browser tab. Once the report has been generated you be able to print or save as a Word or PDF file. 


(01:44) There are also quick links to certain reports throughout the system which can be accessed using the Action buttons. For example there is a profile report on the Entity Details pages. Click the Action button in the top bar menu, go to Reports and then Profile Report. Another example is the Transactions Reports on the Sub Funds Nominal Type. In the Sub Funds tab in Entity Details click on the Action Button next to the required Nominal Account Type, go to Reports and then Transaction Report.
