This how to video tutorial shows you have to customise the layout of the dashboards, tables and tabs within WealthWorks+.
Tutorial Transcript
One of the features of WealthWorks+ is the ability to customise your view of the data display. Select the Entity Dashboard from the menu. As you can see the data on the dashboard is divided up into separate boxes. These boxes are called Portlets. Each Portlet can be collapsed or expanded or can be viewed full screen. The Portlets can also be reordered by clicking on the title and keeping the left mouse button held down while you drag the Portlet into a new position. This means that the most important data to your role can be displayed at the top of the screen and data which is not regularly required can be collapsed and moved to the bottom of the screen. If the Portlets appear to display incorrectly, a page refresh using CTRL+F5 should fix the issue.
(00:59) You can also customise the data displayed within the tables. There are tables throughout the system and they all have the same options available. For each table you can sort the data by column header. There are also a number of icons on the top right. These options let you Print, Copy the data, and Export to Excel as well as change the Columns displayed. When you click Columns you will see a list of all the columns available. The options in blue are active and the ones in grey are currently hidden. Click on the options you want displayed or hidden and the table will change accordingly. You can also change the column order, if you click on the column header and by keeping the mouse button held down you can drag the column into the position you want. However, moving columns is not permissible on tables that display a sub-total.
(01:50) If you wish to reset the column order for that table, click Reset Layout and the table will revert to the default view.
(01:57) You can also change the order of tabs, such as those in an entity record, in a similar way. Select the tab and keep the mouse button held down and drag the tab into the position you require. This includes the additional tabs in the right-hand menu. It is worth noting that if you have the tab on the far right active, the ellipsis icon disappears. To access the additional tabs, click on the tab on the far right. The hidden tabs will display in a list and you can select the option you require.
(02:27) If you want to reset the tab layout use the Action menu on the left of the top menu bar and select Reset Page Layout. You can also use this option to reset the Portlet layout when on one of the Dashboard pages.
(02:42) Any changes you make to your data view is stored by your device and are remembered the next time you log in on the same device. This means you can have different display options for different devices.
(02:55) If you wish to reset all displays back to the default view, go into your user profile, select About and Reset to Default Configuration. You will then be asked to confirm and then the all customisations will be reset to the default.
